Seems like just yesterday we were talking about Michael B. Jordan pitching Warner Bros. his ideas for a Superman film. Well, time flies when the rumor mill is spinning, and now we have some new gossip regarding what could be the future of the Man of Steel. JoBlo is reporting that 26-year-old David Corenswet (Netflix's The Politician) is at the top of the list to pick up the reigns from Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Justice League).

It doesn't take long to see the appeal of Corenswet for Warner Bros. He's got that all-American look, with a square jaw... he almost looks just like a young Henry Cavill. If Matt Reeves' The Batman is going to have a less jacked version of Bruce Wayne, it makes sense not to have someone as ripped as Henry Cavill being his Superman. Yes, "his" Superman. He's everyone's Superman. But, this casting would not come as a surprise at all, and fall in line with the younger "Justice League" Warner Bros. was said to be chasing after Ben Affleck stepped down as Bats.
