Some I'm A Celebrity viewers have discovered a canny way to help keep the Girls Aloud star in camp

Die-hard of Nadine Coyle have been sharing tips to award her 'illegal votes' and help keep her in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! as long as possible.

Nadine, 34, has proved a huge hit with her campmates and some viewers are using sneaky measures to make sure she stays put.

As a member of chart-topping girlband Girls Aloud, Nadine achieved global success - but some fans outside the UK have been left unable to phone in or use the ITV app to vote for their favourite singer.

To combat this, a Girls Aloud fan Twitter account has been busy instructing fans of how to go around the geographical limiations.

"Are international fans allowed to vote / how??" one confused fans asked under the hashtag #AmericanAlouder.

The fan account replied: "As far as we're aware you should be able to if you download a VPN app and then download the I'm A Celeb app.

"When you vote you might need to change your VPN then too," they added.

Another fan account dedicated to Londonderry born Nadine has also advised those in the Republic of Ireland to use the same trick to garner more votes for her.

"Vpn is your friend," they told followers with a thumbs up.

So far three celebrities have left camp - with soap star Cliff Parisi becoming the latest on Monday night - and more will follow with the nightly eliminations.

There has been controversy with the voting so far this year.

During the first elimination, votes cast on the app had to be cancelled after a 'wording error.'

The mix-up was revealed by Ant McPartlin before Adele Roberts was sent home.

Since then many fans have been left fearing that some people could have got confused and are accidentally voting for the stars they like the least.

The main bone of contention seems to be that James Haskell and Ian Wright have survived the vote-offs so far and if fans are voting the wrong way - one them could be crowned jungle king.

One viewer tweeted: "Do people understand the voting on the app? Vote to save/vote to leave...

"I think the producers need to make it a bit simpler... No other reason that James is still in there..." another fumed.

While James' wife Chloe Madeley even joked today that she thinks he'll be the next to leave after his campmates have felt his 'hangry' wrath.
