Coronation Street 's Michelle Connor is set for trouble this week, as Ray Crosby unleashes his dark side.

Michelle (Kym Marsh) quit her job with the businessman after she grew tired of his sleazy and controlling ways.

But in upcoming scenes, Michelle is shocked to learn that Ray (Mark Frost) has replaced her with Alya Nazir (Sair Khan).

Aware of his sinister behaviour behind closed doors, she warns Alya to be careful around the Bistro owner.

Last month, he propositioned her in a hotel room while wearing nothing more than a dressing gown - leaving Michelle reeling.

Growing suspicious, Alya quizzes Ray on his relationship with Michelle, but he lies to cover his tracks.

He hides his true emotions in front of Alya, but inside he's seething with fury, and plots to get revenge on Michelle.

Later, Michelle is floored when Ray calls by and hands her a letter, detailing a breach of contract and defamation.

Getting embroiled in a legal battle with such a successful businessman could mean serious debt for Michelle - and her lying fiancé.

Is Alya safe in Ray's company, and what could his threat mean for Michelle?

Michelle rings up Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) - while he's driving - to fill him in on Ray's latest scheme.

Distracted, Robert crashes the car and ends up in hospital miles away from Weatherfield.

In the ward, the cheating hubby-to-be is caught between his two fiancees, meaning his neverending stream of lies might finally be exposed.

Coronation Street usually airs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7.30 - 8 pm and 8.30 - 9 pm.
