Todd Gurley has never been shy about sharing his opinion, whether it's calling the Rams offense a "middle school offense" under Jeff Fisher or saying how terrible Thursday night football games are. He made a strong statement on Thursday with the T-shirt he wore to his press conference.
He took a blatant shot at the NCAA with a shirt that read "Not Concerned About Athletes."
He also posted a photo of it on Instagram.
Gurley has a history with the NCAA, getting suspended four games in his final season at Georgia for accepting money in exchange for autographs. He tore his ACL in his first game back from suspension, ending his season.
California governor Gavin Newsom recently signed the Fair Pay to Play Act, which is a step toward allowing NCAA athletes to make money from endorsements and their likeness without being penalized or punished.
