A former contestant of BB Kannada 3 Jayashree Ramiah has filed a police complaint against her maternal uncle alleging physical and sexual harassment. The actress has filed a written complaint in Chennammanakere Achukattu police station.

The actress said, "We were having some property dispute. I went to my maternal uncle's place along with my mother yesterday to end the issue. But he misbehaved with me and threw us out of the house in the middle of the night. Since childhood, he has been physically and sexually harassing me like this. He used to beat me up with his shoes." She also alleged that her uncle used to pass lewd comments about her outfits.

On the other hand, her uncle has denied all the charges. He said, "All the charges are baseless. She is staying with us for quite some time. I used to be strict due to her lifestyle. She comes home late at night to which I had objected. She has filed a false complaint because of this reason. We have already given her share of the property and don't have any dispute over it."

The popular dancer and actress became a household name after participating in the popular reality show Bigg Boss Kannada season 3. She was the second contestant of the season 3 to be voted out.

The model-turned-actress made her Sandalwood debut right after her Bigg Boss stint with a dark comedy movie Uppu Hulli Kara, directed by Imran Sardhariya and produced by M. Ramesh.
