With the sixth and final season of his hit Fox drama series Empire debuting this month, Terrence Howard dropped quite the bombshell in a new interview, revealing he's quitting acting after the season.

Extra was on the set of Empire during production on the final season, when the 50 year old actor was asked what's next for his career after the show ends.

'Oh, I'm done with acting. I'm done pretending,' Howard said, which seemed to surprise interviewer Cheslie Kryst, who asked if he was going to focus on philanthropy instead.

'No, not philanthropy, I'm just focusing on bringing truth to the world,' Howard said, though he wouldn't elaborate.

Howard did recently post an Instagram post that linked to a new website of his, which claimed to correct man's 'flawed approach to math.'

'Dear Friends, I believe that enough time has passed with Mankind behaving as if we are living in the dark ages! At last, "the proof and the pudding" is ready to be served!' he said.

'Go to Tcotlc.com and download the Truth concerning Man's flawed approach to math and let me show you, How our Universe truly Works!' he added.

'Just as the Sunshine and Rain are free, I am giving this Truth to the world for free! All I ask is that you do something with it!' he concluded.

He hasn't posted anything on Instagram since that post on August 22.

Howard's 'truth' aside, the current actor also spoke about his former co-star Jussie Smollett, who was written off the show in light of his hate crime hoax scandal.

'It hurts, it's like losing a son,' Howard said, but he added that while he misses his co-star, he doesn't miss all of the controversy that came along with him.

'But it's nice not having all of the media circus around, regarding all of the things that took place,' Howard said.
