A MILDURA woman was on her way to a job agency appointment when she rear-ended another vehicle while more than five times the legal blood alcohol limit for a fully licensed driver.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court was told the 43-year-old had consumed an excessive amount of alcohol the previous night before she was reminded her Centrelink benefits would be under threat unless she attended the prearranged appointment the following morning.
