BOOKED: Javier Alvarez, 38, of Ukiah, was arrested on Sept. 5 at 9:50 a.m. on suspicion of revoked probation: felony and burglary: first degree: felony. He was booked into the county jail on $50,000 bail.
BOOKED: Wanda Cowan, 58, of American Canyon, was arrested on Sept. 5 at 8:15 p.m. on suspicion of receiving stolen property and kidnapping-forcibly, or to instill fear, steal, take, hold, detain, or arrest any person. She was booked into the county jail on $100,000 bail.
BOOKED: Jeffery Chenier, 60, of Ukiah, was arrested on Sept. 6 at 5:57 p.m. on suspicion of forging/altering vehicle registration/etc., possession of drug paraphernalia, false id to a police officer, violation of county parole and violation of community supervision. He was booked into the county jail on $15,000 bail.
BOOKED: Jenine Quinliven, 44, of Ukiah, was arrested on Sept. 6 at 10 p.m. on suspicion of burglary: first degree: felony and possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into the county jail on $55,000 bail.
BOOKED: Daniel Burkhart, 31, of West Sacramento, was arrested on Sept. 6 at 12:12 p.m. on suspicion of being under the influence and in possession of a weapon and use/under the influence of a controlled substance. He was booked into the county jail on $15,000 bail.
The following were compiled from reports prepared by the California Highway Patrol:
ARREST: Nicholas Garcia, 35, of Buckeye, Arizona, was stopped in Willits on Sept. 5 at 10:01 p.m. on suspicion of DUI alcohol.
ARREST: Eric Kotila, 43, of Fort Bragg, was stopped on Sept. 6 at 3:32 p.m. on suspicion of DUI alcohol/drug, driving while license is suspended/revoked, revoked probation-misdemeanor, use/under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
ARREST: Benjamin Tapia, 35, of Wilton, was stopped in Ukiah on Sept. 7 at 1:35 a.m. on suspicion of DUI alcohol.
ARREST: Herbert Johnson, 59, of Oakland, was stopped in Hopland on Sept. 7 at 8:54 a.m. on suspicion of DUI alcohol/drug, hit/run misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and false id to a police officer.
ARREST: Crystal Cardona, 27, of Willits, was stopped in Redwood Valley on Sept. 8 at 1:42 p.m. on suspicion of DUI alcohol: causing bodily injury.
Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper.
