Apple is holding an event at its heaquarters in Cupertino, California, today, where it is widely expected to reveal its new iPhone 11 family and Apple Watch Series 5 .

The tech giant is expected to launch three new iPhones - a 5.8-inch model called the iPhone 11 Pro, a 6.5-inch model called the 11 Pro Max, and a lower-cost 6.1-inch model, called simply the iPhone 11 .

The stand-out feature of the Pro models is expected to be a triple rear camera system , allowing users to capture ultra-wide angle photos and videos, as well as 3D images.

Meanwhile, the lower-cost iPhone 11 is expected to come in an array of bright colours including green and purple.

Apple is also expected to unveil its latest wearable device, the Apple Watch Series 5, which is rumoured to be available with new ceramic and titanium casings and several new strap options.

The company is also reportedly planning to reveal a brand new product - a physical "Tag" , similar to Tile, that will enable users to locate items such as keys or a wallet using an app.
