And Dawn French got into character for her latest role as The Wicked Queen in pantomime Snow White at the London Palladium on Wednesday.

The comedienne, 61, looked almost unrecognisable as she donned a spiked crown and a feathered purple dress for her role as the iconic supervillain.

The regal crown featured a purple glittery tiara, resting atop of a bejewelled headpiece with striking raised panels.

Her raven tresses were styled sleek and straight as she chatted with colleagues outside of the venue.

The star slipped into a amethyst embroidered gown, with silk panels and glittering black trim which cinched in at her waist before flowing into a sparkling skirt.

The star's gorgeous gown was also dotted with black triangles, completing the sinister look.
